DIGITAL DOMINANCE
For a business like Mercury, with no physical retail footprint, the website is the primary customer touchpoint. It needs to do everything — embody the brand, support campaigns, and make everyday tasks effortless.
Through IA testing we uncovered major gaps: customers struggled to find offers, rewards, sustainability content, and even how to join. In a highly competitive market, this was a serious weakness.
KISS OIL GOODBYE
The “Kiss Oil Goodbye” electrification campaign was our chance to address this. I led the redesign of key pathways, simplifying navigation and introducing interactive storytelling to bring Mercury’s sustainability story to life. Animated content slices guided customers from the homepage into campaign narratives, while still ensuring quick access to core tasks and information.
OUTCOMES
In just three months, we transformed the site from hard-to-navigate to engaging and intuitive. Interactive storytelling brought Mercury’s sustainability story to life, while Treejack testing showed a 19% improvement in findability. The campaign content also drove deeper engagement with Mercury’s electrification message — blending brand storytelling with measurable usability gains.
